29 years with the same creative enthusiasm
El Tintero was founded in 1996 in Madrid’s vibrant and emerging Chueca neighbourhood, where it remained until 2020. In 2021, the brand’s designer landed in Vejer de la Frontera and felt that this was the ideal place to reopen its doors. This time, not only as a shop, but as a creative studio with different editorial, design and illustration projects. New designs are added to our classics, which have accompanied us since the beginning of this adventure.

El Tintero was born in 1996 and after twenty-eight years we continue with a new collection and the same values as always. Pilar Fernández and Joana Moreno join forces and creativity to launch a new stage with a physical shop in Vejer de La Frontera, Cádiz.
